We are currently hiring Surveillance Investigators to conduct stationary/mobile surveillance across the country. Over the years, our current team of by-the-book agents have conducted thousands of successful insurance investigations. Innumerable hours of obtained video, capturing claimant activities from day-to-day errands, to construction, to sky diving, have been provided to our clients - saving millions of dollars on fraudulent claims.
General Duties
- Conduct surveillance operations using various monitoring equipment, including cameras and other specialized equipment.
- Maintain a vigilant and discreet presence while observing designated areas or subjects to avoid detection.
- Document and report findings, incidents, and observations accurately and in a timely manner.
- Follow established protocols and procedures for conducting surveillance operations in compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Operate surveillance equipment and technology proficiently, troubleshooting technical issues as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding sensitive information obtained during the preparation for and during surveillance operations.
- Participate in training programs and professional development activities to enhance surveillance skills and stay updated on industry best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall security and safety objectives of the organization.
- Prepare and review detailed reports of findings, incidents, and investigations. Modify all errors of grammar, flow, client/heading information, photos, etc. Reports must be finalized and turned in no more than 48 hours after surveillance is completed.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field preferred.
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required, dependent on the job duties and responsibilities.
- Auto insurance must include 100/300/100 coverage limits.
- Previous experience in surveillance, law enforcement, security, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to maintain focus for extended periods.
- Availability to work 10-hour days, weekends, with some travel as requested/needed.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate findings and observations clearly and effectively.
- Proficiency in operating surveillance equipment and related technology.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as part of a team in a dynamic.
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential information and sensitive situations.
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing surveillance operations.
- Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity, ethics, and accountability.
- 18 years of age

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour

At the Marshall Investigative Group, we believe our hourly rates, flexible scheduling, benefits, and expense/mileage reimbursements exceed the industry standards for both experienced Investigators and those just beginning their careers. The position may require travel within your state, with the opportunity to become licensed in neighboring states. All expenses are paid, including training/licensing/testing fees. Comprehensive benefits are available for full-time agents.
