The Business Office Manager’s responsibilities include all business and office management functions of the facility, specifically related to the responsibilities of billing, A/R follow-up, resident Trust, and Medicaid applications. Responsibilities include the successful and timely completion of all business and financial functions within the established parameters, guidelines, state and federal regulations, and as needed to achieve the financial goals of the facility, while promoting an environment that provides optimal efficiencies and superior quality of the business office.
-3-5 years Healthcare billing and collection, financial management experience in a nursing home setting.
-Accounts receivable knowledge which includes Medicaid and Medicare Part A & B along with Managed care plans
-Experience with Medicaid applications
-Proficient computer skills with all windows applications
-Strong analytic skills; ability to quickly identify problems and find effective solutions
-Strong written and oral communication skills
-Strong organizational and follow-through skills
-Ability to work and produce results under pressure
-Fundamental knowledge of accounting practices and agency reimbursement programs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $1.00 per hour
