What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper position at Marshall Manor Nursing & Rehab?
This is a full-time position
Duties include:
Cleaning residents rooms and other interior and exterior areas of the facility. Help maintain a positive physical and social environment for the residents in a clean, safe and sanitary manner.
Clean and straighten resident's rooms, offices and common areas - to include vacuuming, sweeping, wiping, mopping, polishing... ect. Ensure resident's rooms are safe, comfortable, and maintained in an attractive manner. Ensure that all resident's personal items are safeguarded. Move items as needed and clean spills, soiled areas and other conditions as observed or directed.
Ensure all work areas are safe and that procedures regarding cleaners and hazardous materials or objects are followed. Ensure equipment and supplies are properly stored and Universal Precautions, infection control, isolation, fire, safety and sanitation practices and procedures are followed. Follow established policies regarding disposal of infectious wastes and use of protection.
