POSITION SUMMARY
The Dietitian for Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehabilitation provides nutritional consultation to patients in the Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehab program and beyond through continued assessment, development, and implementation of comprehensive nutrition education for cardiac patients in individualized and / or group settings. The Dietitian works as the subject matter expert for the Pritikin program nutrition content. Monitors performance of nutrition care plan through evidence based nutrition practice guidelines, instructional methods and tools. Provides nutrition education and counseling to patients and families.
