The ICU RN supports ICU's mission to deliver compassionate evidence-based care to critically ill patients and their family members. This position functions as a patient advocate at all times and oversees the performance of any non-professional whose activities impact patient care.POSITION QUALIFICATIONSEducation / Licensure / Education :
- Current California Registered Nursing (RN) License required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification preferred.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred.
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification preferred.Knowledge :
- 1 year ICU experience requiredSkills :
- Has the physical and mental health sufficient to accomplish the duties of a Registered Nurse and is able to meet the pharmacology requirements of Marshall Medical Center.New Grad RN Qualifications :
- Current California Registered Nursing (RN) License or Interim Permit with scheduled National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) date.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Candidates who completed senior preceptorship in ICU preferred.
