What are the responsibilities and job description for the Academic Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon position at Marshall Orthopaedics?
Marshall Orthopaedics, a university-affiliated physician group, is currently seeking qualified candidates for a hand / upper extremity position within our department. This position, with a practice location at our academic medical center in Huntington, W.Va., will provide for a practice that is primarily focused on the subspecialty of hand / upper extremity.

Minimum Requirements
- Applicants must have successfully completed an orthopaedic residency program and an orthopaedic hand surgery fellowship.
- Applicants must be board-certified or board-eligible at the time of application.
- Applicants must also be able to obtain an unrestricted West Virginia medical license.
Due to rapidly increasing volume, we are recruiting an additional hand / upper extremity surgeon to our department.
