Position Overview:
The Therapy Aide will provide assistance throughout the clinic and manage the responsibilities of cleaning and preparing treatment areas, maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the clinic, assisting therapists during sessions, and assisting the front office staff as needed.
Essential Functions:
- Prepare treatment spaces for patient treatment as outlined by the therapist, and according to the clinic standard of treatment
- Clean treatment areas, supplies, linens, and workspaces to maximize face-to-face treatment time with patients. Stock linen and prepare treatment areas daily; treatment areas are to be maintained throughout each working day
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures
- Maintain therapy supplies inventory, place supply orders, and verify receipt of supplies
- Follow all safety procedures and precautions when assisting with patient treatment
- Observe patient development during sessions and document their response
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Assist with any administrative duties as led by the front office team to allow for the best patient experience. Train on front office duties as a backup in rush times or for coverage needs.
