WH Smith North America is looking to fill a Distribution Center RTV/Damages Lead to help our Las Vegas and various US/Canada locations!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Checking inbound transfers to the LV DC RTV/damages department for accuracy and proper receipt into WebIM.
- Damaged product review for manufacturer defects and return to the vendor for credit if applicable.
- Ensuring non-saleable items are appropriately transferred and staged for charity pick up or discarded as directed and per MRG guidelines.
- Tracking merchandise sent for cleaning and ensures saleable merchandise is returned to the appropriate store promptly following transfer procedures.
- Ensuring product transferred to the RTV warehouse 979 is processed in a timely manner.
- Ensuring merchandise from closed stores is properly transferred as directed.
- Operates and uses company equipment in a safe manner at all times in accordance with DC policies and procedures. Reports all accidents and DC equipment issues to DC management immediately.
- Assists in keeping DC clean/organize by properly monitoring the RTV and surrounding area.
- Assists in ticket printing as needed and directed
- Follows DC Policies and Procedures.
- Assists DC Supervisors as assigned.
- Dresses in a neat and clean manner in accordance with the DC dress code and MRG image.
- Other duties may be assigned.
