Job Summary:
Treasury Analyst plays a significant role in ensuring the efficient management of financial transactions and cash flow within the company. Its responsibilities include daily cash reporting, data input for cash flow forecasting, processing of payments, reconciliation of bank transactions, and variance analysis. This role collaborates with various internal teams and external banks to facilitate payments, manage bank accounts, and drive improvements of the Treasury Management System.
Job Responsibilities
- Reports daily cash position, returns and exceptions
- Assists with gathering and inputting data from respective teams into the cash flow forecast model
- Processes Wires and ACHs in TMS (Treasury Management System), verifies posted EFTs in close collaboration with the AP team
- Processes the Corp Credit Card payments and check deposits
- Carry out daily closure of executed bank transactions (uploads bank statements, runs bank reconciliation and prepares actual reporting)
- Assists with variance analysis vs cash flow forecast and budget, performs ad hoc reporting
- Collects and submits information to the banks necessary for payments execution, opening / managing bank accounts, replies to the incoming bank requests
- Performs transaction research in Banking portals and in General ledger as needed
- Supports Customer Service and Sales Audit for customer charge inquiries
- Partners with internal teams on ongoing TMS improvements, performs necessary testing
- Supports independent audit requests on banking related issues
- Runs the NSO (new stores openings) treasury related inquiries of new MID’s, vault service set-ups, etc.
- Performs Merchant IDs migration between the banks
- Assists with the implementation of financial policies and procedures
- Evaluates new banking products and services
- Provides support on special projects or additional duties when needed
