Marshall’s Specialty Services in Springfield is looking for an Accounting/HR Assistant to join our team.

On-the-job training will be provided to help set you up for success in this position. This position will be to assist the Controller in performing basic accounting duties and assisting with human resources basic functions.
Pay: $19 - $23 per hour. Full-time, non-exempt position
Work hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday (Overtime and Evenings on occasion during peak seasons) in our office located at 4110 Olympic St., Springfield OR 97478

- Quickbooks experience, preferred
- Strong clerical, organizational, and attention to detail

- Financial Transactions:Tracking and recording financial transactions, updating financial records
- Accounts Payable/Receivable:Processing invoices, payments, and research discrepancies
- Payroll Support:Assisting with payroll processing, verifying information, and balancing payroll reports
- Benefits Support: Reconciling benefits statements
- Onboarding and Employee Relations:Welcoming new employees and providing onboarding support
- HR Data Management:Maintaining and updating employee records
- Payroll Support:Assisting with payroll processing by collecting time and attendance records
- Employee Data Reports:Submitting employee data reports by assembling, preparing, and analyzing data
- Benefits Administration:Assisting with benefits administration
- Policy and Procedure Knowledge:Demonstrating an understanding of HR policies and procedures
- HR Support: Answer employee questions and providing HR support to our team
