Key Responsibilities
- ServiceNow Administration: Act as the primary ServiceNow Systems Administrator, ensuring platform health and performance.
- Platform Best Practices: Ensure usage and development on the platform follow industry standards and best practices.
- Configuration & Customization: Perform the configuration and customization of applications, workflows, and processes within the ServiceNow platform.
- Feature Implementation: Implement new features, updates, and modules to meet organizational needs.
- Support & Troubleshooting: Provide technical end-user support for issues related to ServiceNow and address system performance challenges.
- Workflow Management: Build, manage, and support workflows within the ServiceNow platform to improve operational efficiency.
- Systems Administration: Perform additional system administrator tasks as required by the department, including platform monitoring and optimization.
- ServiceNow Platform Experience: 5 years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform.
- Certified Systems Administrator: 4 years of experience as a Certified ServiceNow System Administrator.
- Certified Application Developer/Implementer: 3 years of experience as a Certified Professional Application Developer or Certified Professional Implementer.
- ServiceNow Implementation: Proven experience in ServiceNow platform implementation and development.
- MID Server: Experience in managing ServiceNow Management, Instrumentation, and Discovery (MID) Server.
- CMDB Expertise: Experience in configuring, managing, and supporting ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) modules, including Discovery, Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), Service Mapping, and various integration tools.
- Custom Widgets & Workflows: Hands-on experience with configuring custom widgets, Flow Design, Integration Hub, and Employee Center within ServiceNow.
- Glide Ajax Scripting: Strong understanding and ability to work with Glide Ajax scripting for advanced ServiceNow development.
- ServiceNow Certifications: Valid ServiceNow Systems Administrator and Certified Application Developer certifications are highly preferred.
- ITIL Knowledge: Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) principles and best practices.
- ITOM & SPM Expertise: Experience with ServiceNow’s IT Operations Management (ITOM) and Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) configurations and best practices.
- Windows Server Administration: Experience administering Windows servers.
- Criminal Justice Environment: Knowledge of IT standards in a criminal justice or public sector environment.
- Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC): Familiarity with ServiceNow’s Governance Risk and Compliance configuration and best practices.
- Performance Analytics: Understanding of ServiceNow Performance Analytics configuration and best practices.
- Multi-Tenant Instances: Experience implementing and supporting multi-agency/company environments within the same instance of ServiceNow.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve technical challenges and optimize system performance.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, including fluency in English, to support end users and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
