Job Title: WCS Developer

Location: Issaquah, WA (Hybrid)

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled WCS Developer to join our development team and contribute to the enhancement and expansion of a global B2B eCommerce platform. The candidate will actively participate in design sessions, code new features, and lead development projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to SDLC. This role is an excellent opportunity to work on an eCommerce application for a Fortune 50 company.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop new features for a global eCommerce website.
• Create both conceptual and detailed technical design documentation.
• Provide accurate and timely estimates (work breakdown schedules).
• Document and execute unit and integration tests to ensure quality.
• Define and implement software development standards and best practices.
• Lead and participate in code review sessions, supporting collaborative development.
• Provide third-level application support for production-installed components.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance at the assigned workplace.
  
  

Required Skills And Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience with web and UI development using HTML, JavaScript, React, and CSS.
• Minimum 4 years of experience developing in distributed application environments.
• At least 1 year of experience as a development lead on major projects.
• Proficiency with Java, EJB, JMS, JSP, Web Services, SOAP, and XML technologies.
• Experience with one major database: DB2, MS SQL, or Oracle.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and applied UML experience.
• Experience leading at least one project through a formal software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Exposure to WebSphere Commerce Server (WCS) is a plus.
