Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop new features for a global eCommerce website.
- Create both conceptual and detailed technical design documentation.
- Provide accurate and timely estimates (work breakdown schedules).
- Document and execute unit and integration tests to ensure quality.
- Define and implement software development standards and best practices.
- Lead and participate in code review sessions, supporting collaborative development.
- Provide third-level application support for production-installed components.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance at the assigned workplace.
- Minimum 4 years of experience with web and UI development using HTML, JavaScript, React, and CSS.
- Minimum 4 years of experience developing in distributed application environments.
- At least 1 year of experience as a development lead on major projects.
- Proficiency with Java, EJB, JMS, JSP, Web Services, SOAP, and XML technologies.
- Experience with one major database: DB2, MS SQL, or Oracle.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and applied UML experience.
- Experience leading at least one project through a formal software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Exposure to WebSphere Commerce Server (WCS) is a plus.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
