The Apprenticeship Unit Director at Marshall Advanced Manufacturing Center is responsible for providing a variety of services which highlights the responsibility for developing, implementing, and managing apprenticeship programs. Designing and establishing frameworks while collaborating with industry stakeholders to align programs with workforce needs. The Director will oversee apprenticeship administration and compliance with regulations all while building relationships with employers, educational institutions, and community organizations. This role will also prepare and present reports to senior management stakeholders and analyze data on program effectiveness.

The Apprenticeship Unit Director works under the general supervision of the Director of Workforce Development. Work requires considerable skill and the ability to plan and coordinate tasks to completion.
State, regional, and national travel is required to promote apprenticeship, attend conferences and partner meetings, as well as conduct follow up with participating companies.

Required Qualifications
Education
Associate Degree
Experience
Five years of experience developing industry training. Experience with grant implementation. Experience working with apprenticeship program development or curriculum design.

Experience
Equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered. Independent, results-focused, highly organized self-starter is preferred.
