The Marshall Advanced Manufacturing Center, West Virginia’s Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center, is accepting resumes for an Industrial Maintenance Instructor/Trainer that will be based at MAMC Huntington.Duties: Designing and providing customized training to meet industry demand; assisting with instruction of Advanced Manufacturing Program including skill sets in Industrial Maintenance, Process Controls, Electronics and Electrical options. Responsible for teaching the installation, inspection, and maintenance of equipment in a typical manufacturing environment along with basic machine processing concepts. Lead in maintaining a safe and clean facility, assuring all safety procedures are followed. Travel will be required, and the candidate may split time at classroom locations within the service district.Additional Responsibilities: Duties also include student pre-testing, interviews, and selection; developing lesson plans; maintaining discipline in the classroom and lab; instructing students on a day-to-day basis; evaluating student performance; and maintaining attendance and test records. Performing preventive maintenance on shop equipment; maintaining inventory of supplies; working with the program Industry Advisory Council to maintain industry standards. Include day-to-day interaction with all partner sites, pertinent day-to-day interaction with management, intense day-to-day interaction with local and regional customers, ensure partner and industry satisfaction, lead in developing and implementing appropriate procedures and processes to ensure the latest technologies are available.
