This is a 12-month Librarian Track position at the Assistant Professor/Librarian II rank. This is an exciting opportunity tolead the development and management of our diverse library collections, playing a keyrole in supporting the university's academic mission.What You'll Do:• Provide leadership in all aspects of collection development for both print anddigital resources.• Contribute innovative ideas and make strategic decisions based on academicprogram needs.• Investigate emerging trends in collection initiatives and incorporate them intothe libraries’ framework.• Recommend and order materials, using reviews and research to make informeddecisions.• Coordinate trials for new electronic resources in collaboration with other librarystaff.• Work closely with the University Libraries Business Manager on budgetmanagement.• Contribute to accreditation/program review and statistical reports.• Serve as a contact for vendors and publishers, establishing and maintainingrelationships.• Coordinate the management of gift materials.• Oversee the organization and weeding of the collection.• Participate in campus and university committees.
