Description:The WV Austin Training Center's Early Childhood Coaching Specialist is a non-classified position funded through a grant awarded from the WV Department of Education and administered by the Marshall University Research Corporation (MURC). This position serves the Northern region of West Virginia and includes the following counties: Hancock, Brooke, Ohio, Marshall, Wetzel, Monongalia, Preston, Taylor, Marion, Barbour, Harrison, Lewis, Doddridge, Braxton, Gilmer, Ritchie, Wood, Pleasants, and Tyler. The applicant is expected to live in or within 20 miles of the region.• Provide school personnel training on the practice-based coaching model and how it is implemented in both individualized and group-based formats.• Maintain collaborative relationships with school- and community-based providers to facilitate practice-based coaching as a form of technical assistance that builds capacity within classrooms.• Provide practice-based coaching directly to early childhood teachers as assigned through the 2-week practice-based coaching model in individualized coaching.• Provide practice-based coaching utilizing the 8-session group coaching model forcounties/agencies throughout the assigned county/agency school year calendar.• Complete fidelity data in classrooms as part of the Practice-Based Coaching Model and compile that data for the TA Center program evaluator (TPOTS and other possible fidelity tools).• Maintain records of all technical assistance and coaching provided.• Be a member and attend the meetings of the district-level Pyramid Team with the assigned behavior support specialist for the county/agency where the coaching is taking place.• Other duties assigned by the Executive Director, Associate Director, or Director of Technical Assistance.
