Responsibilities of the Manager, Campus Academic Affairs, Mid-Ohio Valley Center include:Coordinating with the director in the development of the course schedule for the Mid-Ohio Valley Center, and recruit faculty for MOVC.Supervise all work-study and graduate assistants, Time Clock Plus approvals, and provide data for MOVC's Board of Advisors.Direct control of the dual credit program with Mason County Schools.Works with principals and secondary curriculum director to provide instruction for high school students.Recruit faculty for the program, develop course schedules, recruit students, work through the admission process with students and counselors and advise and register the dual credit students.Act as Academic Advisor for MOVC students by working in conjunction with academic advisors on the Huntington campus.Attend meetings on the Huntington campus, such as Advisor/Advisee to stay abreast of changes in the four-year plans.Coordinate the MOVC WOW program with University College.Assist the director and IT Consultant to determine needs of electronic nature and to secure any purchases that may be deemed necessary.Recruitment of students from Gallia, Jackson, and Meigs Counties, Ohio, and Jackson and Mason Counties, WV.Develop and promote workshops and presentations for all county residents.Attend college fairs in Jackson, Mason, and Putnam Counties in West Virginia and attend college fairs in Gallia, Jackson, and Meigs Counties in Ohio.Make individual visits to surrounding schools in the recruitment of students.Work with school counselors in this area to make sure they have all information needed about Marshall University. This will be in conjunction with the Office of Recruitment.Design MOVC Brochures for both traditional and dual-credit students.Other duties as assigned
