About the Opportunity
We are seeking a board eligible or certified pediatrician to join our team at an established rural health clinic in Placerville, California. This is a full-time position with a 4-day work week, offering a unique blend of continuity of care in the clinic and occasional high-risk newborn care.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a level 1 nursery setting and be comfortable working with obstetricians, certified nurse midwives, and other healthcare professionals in a collegial environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing medical care to patients in the clinic
- Maintaining hospital exposure through rounding on newborns and attending high-risk deliveries
- Working collaboratively with obstetricians and certified nurse midwives
