Position: Ecommerce Sales Manager
The Ecommerce Sales Manager is responsible for managing the online strategy for MARSHALLTOWN. This includes product assortment across our website, MARSHALLTOWN.com, as well as partner platforms with Amazon, Lowes, and The Home Depot. This individual will be responsible for optimizing merchandising strategies, and driving sales and profitability through effective product planning, digital merchandising, and content placement. This role collaborates closely with the Marketing, Business Initiatives, IT, and Product Category Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and curate the online product assortment to align with customer demand, seasonal trends, and content brand strategy.
- Execute online merchandising strategies, optimizing product placement, categories, and filters to enhance the customer journey.
- Develop and execute the overall online sales and growth strategy to achieve sales targets
- Coordinate with the Marketing and Category Team to align product launches with campaigns, promotions, and SEO strategies.
- Implement data-driven changes based on performance metrics and consumer insights.
- Ensure product descriptions, images, and pricing are accurate, consistent, and aligned with brand standards.
- Prioritize the development A content working closely with Marketing.
- Implement best practices for product page optimization to improve SEO rankings and drive traffic.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in ecommerce merchandising or product management.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute innovative initiatives to drive business results.
- Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing principles.
- Proficiency in ecommerce platforms such as Amazon.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.
- Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Results-driven mindset with a passion for exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
