MARSHALLTOWN is recruiting Mechanical Engineering Co-ops for Spring/Summer 2026 or Summer/Fall 2026 in our Marshalltown, Iowa location. You will work in a fast paced, fun and rewarding environment with people who will appreciate your contribution. You will be tasked with implementing a wide variety of improvements in a highly automated manufacturing facility. You will manage your projects from cradle to grave and will be heavily involved in the final implementation of the project.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Help build state-of-the-art automated manufacturing cells
- Offer creative solutions to improve existing manufacturing processes
- Manage design projects all the way from problem definition to final implementation
- Assist in Product Development activities, including concept generation, design, and testing
Qualifications of the Position Include:
- Currently pursuing a four-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Strong analytical skills and computer skills, including AutoDesk Inventor and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Passion and creativity
- Must possess an eye for detail in all work
- Hands on skills
- An interest or experience in manufacturing
