As a Sales Engineer for MARSHALLTOWN, you will have the opportunity to learn and understand our business and products and present our product line to distributors and retailers to capture a larger segment of the marketplace. We are looking for a high energy person who can produce results. 

Specific Responsibilities Include:

• Develop and maintain expertise in of all MARSHALLTOWN’s products and services
• Leverage understanding of engineering concepts to help execute a sales strategy
• Ability to learn our markets, competitors, pricing, customers, order entry, marketing and product development
• Troubleshoots customers’ technical issues and provides consultative engineering solutions.
• Identifies and seeks out needed information, research, gathers and communicates customer needs

Qualifications

Qualifications of the Position Include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or technical field, required.
• Strong technical, logical, analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
• Outgoing personality and ability to work with customers and employees at all levels including company leaders
