MARSHALLTOWN’s ANNUAL SUMMER WORK PROGRAM (apply to this position if interested in working at our Walnut Ridge, AR location for the Summer 2025.)
MARSHALLTOWN is the leading manufacturer and distributor of tools in the construction facility. We sell directly to Big Box retails stores like Lowes and Home Depot, as well as to many others. You can find our products in the masonry, concrete, drywall, plastering, paint, tile, and flooring departments. We have multiple facilities just 10 minutes from the University of Arkansas!
Each Summer, MARSHALLTOWN creates opportunities in our Production Facility for recent High School Graduates and Current College Students to work over the Summer months.
Students earn a competitive wage while gaining valuable work experience in manufacturing.
1st shift (traditionally 6:30am - 3pm)
*shift hours may vary slightly per department
** limited opportunities available on each shift. Shift assignments are first come first serve.
Students planning to work in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering have found value in this hands-on experience, though the Summer Work Program is not limited to these fields of interest.
Qualifications
The Summer Work Program offers assignments (positions) in the production facility. The physical requires are as follows : standing for 8 hours at a time, 5 days a week, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs as needed. Some overtime may be required.
- Must be able to work from June - August (unpaid time off for preplanned vacations permitted.)
- Must be able to work 8 hour shifts M - Fri; Stand for entirety shift
- Meet physical requirements to include lifting up to 40 lbs
