Position Summary:
MarshBerry is seeking a dynamic and innovative Data Analytics Manager to lead a team dedicated to delivering high-quality data solutions and client experiences. This role involves managing the end-to-end processes of data collection, quality assurance, and client interactions within MarshBerry’s proprietary systems. The Data Analytics Manager will also oversee the creation and maintenance of data tools that drive internal decision-making and enhance value for external clients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on process improvement, team development, and fostering client engagement while aligning with MarshBerry’s mission to scale and innovate. This position will work from the Beachwood, OH office four days per week with one flex day to work from home.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team responsible for client data gathering, quality assurance, and interaction with MarshBerry’s proprietary digital platform.
- Develop structured growth paths for team members, including education, training, and career progression.
- Create and implement clear expectations and performance standards to ensure team success.
Client Interaction and Engagement:
- Oversee client interactions, including data presentation, training, and addressing client inquiries regarding MarshBerry’s benchmarking tools.
- Manage relationships with key clients, representing MarshBerry expertise in consultations and presentations to clients and prospects.
- Enhance the client experience to drive engagement and deliver measurable value to internal and external clients.
Process Streamlining and Innovation:
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve data gathering, quality assurance, and tool development processes.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies, including AI tools, to support MarshBerry’s scaling efforts and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal leaders to anticipate and respond to evolving data product needs.
Data Tool Development and Maintenance:
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of data tools that assist internal clients in decision-making and external clients in growth and value enhancement.
- Ensure tools and processes align with industry trends and quality standards.
- Stay current on emerging technologies and best practices to drive continuous improvement in services and processes.
Collaboration and Strategic Impact:
- Work closely with the Senior Vice President of Data and Analytics to provide feedback and insights that improve MarshBerry’s data and analytic services.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with other internal teams and leaders to align efforts and achieve organizational goals.
Selection Criteria
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
- Related professional designations and licenses are a plus.
- 3-5 years of proven experience managing a data analytics team, preferably in a client-facing role.
Other:
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a focus on team development.
- Expertise in data tools, analytics platforms, and process optimization.
- Familiarity with AI and emerging technologies to improve data processes and client engagement.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build relationships with clients and represent technical expertise in consultations.
- Strategic mindset with a track record of implementing scalable and innovative solutions.
- Knowledge of benchmarking and data reporting tools is preferred.
- Experience in the insurance, financial, or consulting industries is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver exceptional client experiences.
