Director of Rehab

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our healthcare team as a Director of Rehab. The Director of Rehab is responsible for overseeing all rehabilitation services within our facility, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. This individual will lead a team of talented therapists and support staff to provide high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize rehab services and improve patient outcomes

- Supervise and mentor a team of therapists and support staff, providing guidance and support as needed

- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients

- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of rehab services, making adjustments as necessary to meet the needs of our patients

- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards of practice

- Manage the department budget, including monitoring expenses and identifying opportunities for cost savings

- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the healthcare organization

Qualifications:

- Associates or Bachelor's degree in a related field (occupational therapy, speech therapy)

- Current licensure as a therapist in the state of practice

- 5 years of experience in a rehab setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role

- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing rehabilitation services

- Proficiency with electronic medical records and other healthcare technology
