JOB SUMMARY
The Appointment Coordinator – Rehab Services Aide will perform designated tasks related to the operation of the Physical and Occupational Therapy department and applicable Speech & Language Pathology. This person is frequently the first contact our customers have with the department and must be able to remain calm in stressful situations and represent the Clinic in a professional manner. The position requires the ability to make decisions consistent with protocols and policies of the department and Clinic always with strict observance of patient confidentiality.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
Minimum Required : High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred / Optional : Completion of Nursing Assistant course or Healthcare related degree. Education in medical terminology is preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required : Computer Experience.
Preferred / Optional : Experience with computer scheduling. Experience in physical or occupational therapy departments or other medical field.
CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES
Minimum Required : Basic Life Support (BLS) certification provided by the American Heart Association within three months of hire.
Preferred / Optional : Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Awarded by the State of Wisconsin. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification provided by the American Heart Association at time of hire.
