Surgical Technologist - Acute: Surgical Services - Operating Room
Job Summary: The Surgical Technologist is a skilled member of the allied healthcare team who provides clinical support and/or operating room assistance under the supervision of a licensed physician. This individual works with various healthcare professionals to deliver direct patient care before, during, and after procedures or surgery.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of a surgical technologist program or military equivalent is required.
Experience: Two years' of healthcare experience is preferred, with one year of experience as a Surgical Technologist being ideal.
Certifications/Licenses: BLS Certification through the American Heart Association is required within three months of hire. Additional specialty or department-specific certifications may also be necessary.

- Work in accordance with Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS) standards of practice and adhere to universal precautions and sterile technique.
