Must acquire and maintain special technical skills and medical knowledge to render quality patient care.JOB QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATIONFor positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.Minimum Required : NonePreferred / Optional : Graduate of a CAAHEP (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs) accredited polysomnographic technology program.EXPERIENCEMinimum Required : One year experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Certified Respiratory Technician (CRT), Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist (END) or Polysomnographic Technologist.Preferred / Optional : Two years' experience as a Polysomnographic Technologist.CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSESThe following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position.
