This individual will coordinate patient services between various areas of the hospital and adjust nursing staffing levels based on identified patient needs.JOB QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATIONFor positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.Minimum Required : Diploma or degree in nursing.Preferred / Optional : Bachelor's degree in nursing.EXPERIENCEMinimum Required : Three years' experience in medical or nursing related field. Demonstrated leadership abilities. Written and verbal communication skills.Preferred / Optional : Management or supervisor experience.CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSESThe following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.Minimum Required :

• Current State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Nurse Compact License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within one month of employment.
• Additional department-specific certifications, licenses, or memberships may be required (varies by department / location).
• For Rice Lake & Minocqua Hospitals :
• Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license as verified through appropriate licensing agency. Must meet the driving requirements and criteria acceptable to MCHS's insurer.Preferred / Optional :
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.
