What are the responsibilities and job description for the Microsoft Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Engineer position at Martek Global Services Inc.?
Martek Global Services, Inc. (“Martek”) working a proposal with the Bureau of Engraving and Printing for Information Technology Operations and Maintenance Support. We are currently looking for an Microsoft Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Engineer with the required specialized training and experiences outlined below.
Location: 14th and C Streets SW, Washington, DC 20228
Responsibilities & Duties
- Responsibilities include, but not limited to, design and deployment of cloud infrastructure solutions for BEP customers.
- Manage the Microsoft infrastructure - related projects for BEP customers.
- Design and implement the Microsoft cloud related technologies within BEP on schedule while satisfying the customer’s requirements.
- Collaborate with software developers and hardware engineers to develop strong interpersonal skills and evaluate change options for their company's information technology systems as a team.
- Analyze current state and design the target solution according BEP requirements.
- Present the proposed solution to the stakeholders and project sponsors.
- Implement, configure, and migrate technologies and data according to designed final architecture.
- Provide additional support to the client operating teams.
Job Qualifications:
Experience Requirements
At least least four (4) years’ experience of Windows Server, Active Directory, MS Exchange online, O365, Azure cloud technology
Required Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
