Key Responsibilities:
- Consulting with Clients:
- Conducting one-on-one consultations with prospective clients to understand their health insurance needs.
- Explaining various health insurance plans, options, and benefits in a clear, accessible manner.
- Recommending health plans that best align with the client’s requirements, preferences, and budget.
- Sales and Enrollment:
- Educating customers about different health insurance products (e.g., HMOs, PPOs, High Deductible plans, Medicare Advantage plans, etc.).
- Assisting clients with the enrollment process, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and submitted correctly.
- Promoting and selling insurance plans in a professional and courteous manner.
- Customer Service and Support:
- Addressing client inquiries regarding coverage options, policy details, claims, and benefits.
- Resolving issues and ensuring ongoing client satisfaction by providing timely and accurate support.
- Assisting clients during open enrollment periods and with life changes such as job loss, marriage, or new dependents.
- Maintaining Client Records:
- Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, policy selections, and transactions.
- Tracking client renewals and follow-ups to ensure continued coverage.
- Staying Informed:
- Continuously learning about the latest changes in health insurance policies, regulations, and industry trends.
- Attending training sessions and meetings to improve product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Compliance:
- Ensuring all sales activities comply with state and federal regulations, as well as company policies.
- Adhering to ethical sales practices and confidentiality standards.
