Responsibilities:
1. Work with Recruiters, Application Processors and Orientation Coordinators at each terminal location to ensure all required documents are completed by every driver in orientation.
2. Audit and confirm the application is complete in TenStreet in its entirety, including ten-year work history, CDL and medical card, violations, accidents, and background information. Investigate and verify driver employment history listed on the application.
3. Validate all Social Security Cards, Employment Authorization documents and CDLs for all drivers in orientation.
4. Follow-up with recruiting staff as needed to correct and collect missing items or incomplete information in the drivers records.
5. Screen all incoming drivers to ensure they meet Marten Transport, Ltd. hiring standards. Promptly report to Recruiting Management any issues or concerns as they arise during the orientation process.
6. Eliminate questionable applications based on information provided and as directed by upper management or Marten hiring criteria.
7. Audit all driver files to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
8. Provide driver records to the Safety Manager, other departments as approved, Department of Transportation audits, and United States Citizenship and Immigration Services upon request.
9. Provide backup support to the safety department as needed.
10. Coordinate and report results of assigned work timely to management and required staff.
11. Save and index all records and online forms to the drivers electronic file within Paperwise.
12. Submit medical cards to the DMV to update expiration dates as needed.
13. Assist with safety inspections as assigned.
14. Other duties as assigned.
