Position Description
Martha Lloyd Community Services (MLCS) provides services to individuals with Intellectual Disabilities and Autism in North Central Pennsylvania. The organization consists of 5 corporations with locations throughout Bradford and Tioga County.
MLCS is seeking an innovative and visionary leader to join its executive team. The candidate must possess high moral integrity, demonstrate outstanding leadership skills and be passionate about Martha Lloyd’s mission.
As the CEO/President you will play a pivotal role in leading and shaping the organizations mission-driven efforts. The CEO is responsible for overseeing all aspects of our organization's operations, strategy, and growth, ensuring effective management of resources and alignment with the organizations mission and values.
The candidate will be expected to embrace Martha Lloyd’s visions and values, think strategically about the challenges ahead and lead the executive team in shaping a vision for the future.
The successful candidate will report to the Board of Directors and oversee the Executive Team which consists of two (2) Corporate Directors as well as the CFO, Associate Director of Human Resources and Associate Director of Compliance & Support Services.
The CEO will be responsible for attending meetings at the local, regional, and state level. The CEO must become conversant with and able to interpret laws and regulations, understand how they will affect services and develop strategies accordingly.
MLCS’ next CEO will quickly integrate into the community and serve as an engaged, visionary leader. This is a full-time, in-person position. The successful candidate will be required to reside within a 1-hour radius of Troy, PA. Relocation Assistance is available and will be negotiable as part of the compensation package. Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree preferred; preferably in one of the following areas of interest: Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, Public Health or Social Work.
- 5 years’ experience directly managing programs in human services or a related field.
- 8 years’ experience at a mid-level or higher supervisory capacity.
- The ability to analyze and interpret financial statements (i.e. Income/Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and Audited Financials) and a general comprehension of fundamental contract law.
- In addition to possessing efficient written and verbal communication skills the candidate will possess teaching, coaching and motivational skills along with proficient organizational and time management skills.
