Qualifications
EDUCATION
- High School diploma or GED required
- Must be able to read, write legibly, speak clearly, and understand the English language.
- Successful completion of Medical Assistant School/Program. EXPERIENCE PREFERRED/DESIRED
- Medical Assistant experience in an ambulatory setting preferred
- A minimum of 6 months employment in an ambulatory physician practice setting in the last 3 years preferred. Experience in Pediatrics is strongly preferred. LICENSURE AND/OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED/DESIRED
- BLS required at time of hire, or must be obtained within 90 days of start date
- Must have a current Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) license/Certification.
