What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Cleaner position at Martha's Vineyard Transit Authority?
Full Time/Year Round with benefits package, available immediately.
Perform routine cleaning tasks at main facility, employee houses, RMV and public restrooms at Edgartown Visitors Center. Tasks include: sanitizing surfaces, trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, window cleaning; vacuuming of offices, break rooms, common areas and restrooms; uniform and linen laundering and management; interior vehicle cleaning; ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and report any maintenance issues or repairs needed. Applicant should have strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward maintaining high cleanliness standards and organization in the workplace.
Valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the US required. Position is subject to a CORI. The VTA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
