Are you passionate about creating delicious, high-quality pizzas and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment? Martha’s Pizza, located within Martha’s Vineyard is looking for an enthusiastic Pizza Artist to join our growing team on the afternoon/evening shift with part-time availability.

What You’ll Do:

As a Pizza Artist, you’ll be an integral part of our pizza team, crafting hand-made pizzas from scratch and delivering a memorable experience to our customers. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and assembly pizzas with fresh ingredients according to both recipe and customer specifications and Martha’s Pizza standards.
• Operating pizza ovens and ensuring all pizzas are cooked to perfection.
• Maintaining a clean, organized work station and following food safety protocols at all times.
• Providing friendly and attentive customer service, answering questions about pizza options, and offering suggestions.
• Assisting in restocking ingredients and maintaining a fresh and appeals pizza counter.

What We’re Looking For:

• Part-Time (10 – 20 hrs/week between 2 – 4 days/week; must have weekend availability).
• Friendly and customer-focused individuals who enjoy working with food.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-demand environment, while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating great-tasting pizzas.
• Previous experience in pizza making or food service is a plus, but we will provide training for the right candidate.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Minimum of 18 years of age required.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Requires the use of hands for reaching, touching, or handling and fine finger movements.
• Requires the ability to push, pull, maneuver, or lift objects up to 40 lbs. frequently
• Requires the ability to bend, kneel, squat, stoop, walk, and stand for duration of shift.
• Work is performed in a retail store with quiet to moderate noise level.
• Frequently exposed to cold and hot conditions (non-weather).
• Frequently exposed to wet, slippery, or damp conditions.
• Frequently exposed to and requires the use of equipment with sharp blades or edges.
