We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our martial arts school. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for students and parents, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. This role involves managing administrative tasks, handling customer inquiries, and supporting studio operations to create a positive experience for all members.
Responsibilities
- Greet students, parents, and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and provide information about class schedules, memberships, and studio policies.
- Manage student check-ins and attendance records.
- Process payments, registrations, and membership renewals.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, trials, and promotional events.
- Communicate effectively with instructors and staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Handle basic administrative tasks, including data entry and filing.
- Support the studio’s marketing and customer engagement efforts through social media or outreach as needed.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Customer service experience, preferably in a fitness or martial arts setting.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills (email, scheduling software, and payment processing).
- Positive attitude and ability to work well with students, parents, and instructors.
- Interest in martial arts or fitness is a plus but not required.
