Are you a natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment? At Martignetti Companies, we’re looking for a Merchandising Manager to take charge of our merchandising team and help us deliver excellence in the Massachusetts market.
In this role, you will manage a team of Merchandisers, working alongside sales leadership to set clear goals and priorities. You'll ensure your team is aligned with divisional objectives and is responsive to customer needs out in the trade.
The merchandising manager oversees all aspects of staffing, professional development, and coaching while focusing on meeting key performance goals and upholding company policies. Key Accountabilities
- Set and meet monthly goals for brand standards in key areas like cold box, warm shelf placement, POS visibility, displays, and activation brands.
- Communicate and delegate corporate merchandising priorities across all divisions, ensuring everyone is on the same page.
- Execute supplier market surveys by organizing teams and planning routes to confirm merchandising objectives are met at every account.
- Oversee delivery and merchandiser schedules to ensure execution of divisional goals.
- Drive success with focus brands by consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
- Take charge of weekend coverage when needed, to support key accounts.
- Hold monthly one-on-ones, work withs, and structured training sessions with your team to offer guidance, coaching, and support.
- Present a training and development series to build a strong sales capabilities culture within the team.
- Conduct annual reviews and work on succession planning to help identify and foster career advancement opportunities for your team.
