Position overview:
Responsible for incoming and outgoing point of sale (POS) products by accurately logging packages and communicating effectively and timely with the appropriate departments.
Key Accountabilities:
- Receive truck deliveries, UPS and FedEx daily by verifying pack lists
- Separate other department packages and deliver
- Enter received goods into Brand Muscle by item and supplier
- Take pictures of inventory, or contact supplier for photos and load into Brand Muscle
- Enter item location into Brand Muscle
- Stock item in a bin location
- Stage POS for merchandisers
- Cycle count inventory
- Provide salesforce with weekly samples
- Maintain case cards, MIRs, & shelf talkers
- Pick the orders that are approved
- Track inventory and purge outdated seasonal POS
- Keep track of depletions and reorder from supplier as necessary
- Be available to assist with merchandising during busy time
- Other duties may be assigned as required
Requirements
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Experience with fork lifts, towmotor, and pallet jacks preferred
- Microsoft Excel and computer skills
- Can work both independently and as part of a team
- Previous beverage company experience preferred
Physical Demands and Environment:
- Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or I-Pad.
- Work is performed in a normal office sitting with intermittent standing or sitting as determined by the incumbent
- Work requires moderate concentration to effectively execute varied tasks with some level of complexity
- Works in a warehouse environment
- May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 50lbs
- Minimal potential for injury in the performance of duties
