What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Manager, On Premise - Gallo (Commonwealth) position at Martignetti?
The Gallo On Premise Manager will be responsible for assisting the Vice President in developing and managing all Gallo On Premise Focus Brands, initiatives, and programs to meet organizational objectives.
Key Accountabilities :
- Work with Gallo to drive on premise annual and monthly trade marketing initiatives
- Track, maintain, and deliver all Gallo on premise metrics, including Wine 5-3-1, Luxury Wine 5-3-1, Spirits 5-3-1, and IYIBWIB
- Work with Gallo sales divisions to create the monthly programming, including Classic W&S (OP Wine), Excel (OP Spirits), Carolina, and Corporate Sales
- Schedule and present monthly priorities to each on premise responsible selling division.
- Assist vice president track and streamline targets in the channel by class of trade, traffic designation, and consumer segmentation
- Create category management tools to deliver results on high potential categories and brands
- Develop processes, tools, systems and training that deliver on premise KPIs
- Target and develop relationships with top on premise customers and groups; identify seasonal and geographic opportunities with advanced planning
- Build activation plan for existing and new on premise customers and groups
- Enhance sales force capabilities through robust, ongoing training models for any responsible selling divisions
- Achieving Gallo on premise fiscal year sales, distribution, and qualitative goals
- Spend 70% of time in the trade, selling, building relationships, and activating while 30% will be spent managing and tracking all Gallo on premise standards and metrics
- Execute annual marketing plan to meet the needs of the portfolio
- Maximize on premise sales tools and IT resources, specifically GoSpotCheck
- Develop and execute annual local digital marketing plan
- Manage Gallo and key account investments to ensure sales results and grow portfolio share
- Work with VP, Corporate Sales to develop and manage wine / spirit ownership throughout assigned sales division(s)
