Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician A to help with repairs and maintenance on tractor, trailer, lift gate, and reefer equipment at our Martin Brower facility in Conroe.
Pay: $30.00 - $33.00/hr, depending upon experience

- Candidates must have the ability to make on spot repairs to trailers, lift gates reefer units and tractors.
- Must be able to make timely decisions on road calls and driver pull-ups and have the ability to relay information to driver/business unit and team members by phone, email.
- Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft application, troubleshooting both electrical and mechanical equipment using computer software to aid in troubleshooting.
- Candidates should know how to do proper pm's on all equipment with minimal supervision.
Pay: $30.00 - $33.00/hr, depending upon experience
Position Responsibilities:
- The Fleet Technician is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and overhaul of fleet diesel equipment, as well as the diagnostics and rebuilding of clutches and brake systems
- As a Fleet Technician, you will complete thorough documentation for work orders related to repairs and preventative maintenance using the online AssetWorks system
- You will operate a company vehicle to diagnose and repair equipment as part of roadside service calls
- You will ensure that equipment has the required licensing and registration before being deemed "roadworthy"
- You will install, replace, and repair onboard computers (XRS or XataNet) and/or cameras (DriveCam)
- You will work in accordance with company, local, state, and federal policies and regulations to ensure safety
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 3 plus years of related experience
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds
- Must have a valid Driver’s License to operate applicable company vehicles
- Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement)
- Technical School Certification
