Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Title Clerk to join our team. The Title Clerk is responsible for processing, verifying, and maintaining title documentation for vehicles or other assets. This role ensures compliance with all state, federal, and company regulations and supports the overall efficiency of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Title Processing: Accurately prepare, process, and submit title paperwork for vehicles or other assets to ensure timely completion.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate records of title applications, registrations, and transfers in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Customer Interaction: Collaborate with customers, dealerships, and financial institutions to resolve title-related issues or discrepancies.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations regarding titles and registrations.
- Data Entry: Input and update title and registration information in company databases and systems.
- Problem Solving: Research and address any errors or inconsistencies in title paperwork to resolve issues effectively.
- Support: Assist with other administrative tasks as needed, including filing, scanning, and customer service support.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Experience: Previous experience in a title clerk, administrative, or similar role is preferred. Knowledge of state title processes is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in computer systems and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
