Under the direct supervision of the Director of Behavioral Health Services, the Senior Service Provider (SP) Supervisor will help build a strong team and shape staff behaviors to ensure high-quality services are being provided to youth and families. They will collaborate with the Behavioral Health Services Administration Team and Service Providers to grow and implement standards and processes. The Senior SP Supervisor will be responsible for email correspondence, maintaining case documentation, and communicating upcoming deadlines to Service Providers promptly. They must be extremely organized and able to perform at a high level of accuracy. The Senior SP Supervisor must maintain appropriate professional relationships with the Behavioral Health Services Administration Team, Service Providers (SPs), families, and their Care Teams to ensure optimal care and high-quality services.
Requirements :
- Reviewing documentation (Service Summary Forms / Progress Note Forms, Verification of Service Forms, and Service Plans) from SPs to provide constructive feedback and request corrections when needed.
- Updating shared records of documentation (Service Plan due dates, Authorization start and end dates).
- Referencing youth’s Service Plans to ensure SPs are using the correct goal and objectives on Service Summary Forms.
- Referencing authorization approval where applicable to ensure SPs are following the approved units and frequency of each service.
- Holding quarterly supervision meetings with assigned SPs to acknowledge strengths and advise on areas needing improvement.
- Holding quarterly supervision meetings with the Part-Time SP Supervisor to acknowledge strengths and advise on areas needing improvement.
- Assuming all tasks of the Part-Time SP Supervisor when they are out of the office.
- Communicating and following up effectively with the Director of Behavioral Health Services and SPs regarding concerns that need immediate attention (pause in services, outstanding paperwork).
- Coordinate meetings between SPs, families, and the youth’s Care Team when clarification is needed.
- Collaborating with the Director of Behavioral Health Services on department meeting agendas.
- Assisting in leading department meetings and presenting applicable feedback regarding documentation and service provision.
- Attending and completing all mandatory OCFS Trainings for provided services within six (6) months of hire or registration date.
- Performing other responsibilities as assigned.
