What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lake Crew Technician I - Driver position at Martin Docks LLC?
The Service Technician I is a low-skilled member of the lake crew who is working with a small, 2–3-person team to install new boat docks and/or boat dock accessories or repair boat docks. These repairs could include repairing or installing decking, steel and aluminum frames, metal roofing, boat lifts, or floats as well as moving docks into or out of the water. The work is accomplished by using a modified pontoon boat to travel across lakes, rivers, etc. to access the boat dock.
Quality dock service is completed while growing in skill and professionalism, in a positive team environment. The Service Technician I is a training position. After 90 days (first 3 months), the employee is evaluated and assigned to the next level, or the employment separated due to unsatisfactory job performance. The Service Tech I will report to the assigned Boat Captain.
The Boat Captain reports to the assigned SPC. The SPC reports to the Service Manager.
