POSITION SUMMARY
Martin Electric is currently seeking a self-motivated Assistant Project Manager who is excited about the opportunity to work on a high-performing team – energizing some of the most exciting projects in our area. As an APM, your primary focus will be to support the field execution team with proper information and document control – specifically, scope, schedule, and budget. The successful candidate will require independent judgement to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Interpret plans and specifications and provide abstracts to field execution teams
- Develop, submit and track project submittals & RFI’s
- Maintain equipment tracking logs and communicate status to teams routinely
- Maintain organized project files with all up-to-date information that can be easily accessed by project field teams
- Prepare and track construction schedules and requests updates as schedule changes
- Implement change orders to project when required & track status
- Use computer aided design technologies and modeling software to develop designs, sketches, drawings
- Prepare monthly budgeting & forecasting reports
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the electrical/construction industry
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Detailed-oriented
- Time-management
- Experienced in Revit & AutoCAD preferred.
- Proficient in construction management software. Procore experience preferred.
- Experience using electrical engineering software preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
