Job Title: Junior Electrical Engineer at Martin Energy Group
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Martin Energy Group. As a Junior Electrical Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design and implementation of electrical systems for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare new electrical drawings and revise existing ones, including one-lines, three-lines, control drawings, and panel layout drawings.
- Develop IO Lists that define devices connected to PLC inputs and outputs.
- Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs) for electrical designs.
- Estimate costs for electrical designs.
- Develop operations manuals, proposals, and design documentation.
- Collaborate with contractors and customers through effective communication.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 3 years of verifiable work experience as an Electrical Engineer.
- Excellent communication and writing skills to explain technical concepts.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Self-motivation and a willingness to learn and grow.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Basic knowledge of industrial control panels and the National Electric Code (NEC).
