We are recruiting for an Office Coordinator to join our team in Selma, AL. The Office Coordinator will coordinate the daily administrative function within the branch by providing clerical and organizational support to Operations. This role will provide excellent customer service while maintaining accurate record keeping and properly safeguarding confidential information.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage, add, edit customer accounts utilizing customer management software.
- Handle customer questions in person and via the telephone.
- Pick up and sort incoming mail.
- Process payments including check, credit card, cash.
- Reconcile payments received each day.
- Create and process bank deposits.
- Assist collections department as needed.
- Communicate with drivers regarding customer needs, missed stops, etc.
- Utilize GPS tracking software to monitor driver activity.
- Maintain an organized and clean office space.
- Address customer concerns and resolve problems as they arise.
- Maintain a positive attitude and promote our corporate image by focusing on excellent customer service, cooperation, employee partnership, clear and positive phone manners and high attention to detail.
- Transfer Station responsibilities include utilizing scale system to weigh trucks in and out and providing accurate dumping tickets to each customer/driver.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by management.
Qualifications of the ideal candidate include, but are not limited to, the following:
- High school diploma or equivalency required. Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred.
- Two (2) years of related experience.
- Working knowledge of office and administrative procedures.
- Computer literacy and knowledge of current office technology.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Extremely organized and detail oriented.
- Self-starter with strong initiative.
- Ability to work with confidential information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and employees.
- Ability to function independently and as part of a team with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
- Ability to think and respond quickly, positively and professionally to constantly changing circumstances.
Working Conditions:
- Work in indoor office environment 95% of the time.
- Noise level is usually moderate.
