SUMMARY:

Martin Equipment is a John Deere Construction Dealership, family-owned for almost 100-years.The Marketing Manager is responsible for establishing, overseeing and driving the marketing strategy for the organization. This role involves the planning, developing, and executing of a comprehensive marketing plan that increases brand awareness, drives sales, engages customers and supports the overall business goals and objectives of the organization. The Marketing Manager will provide direction and strategy to key agency partners and collaborate cross-functionally with key departments such as sales, parts, service and human resources to ensure consistent on-brand messaging and effective execution of marketing initiatives. Salary is negotiable depending upon experience.
Essential DUTIES:
Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to support company goals and objectives
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth
- Monitor and adjust strategies as needed to shifting priorities and market changes
Campaign Management:
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns across multiple channels (website, digital, print, social media, email, etc.)
- Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and make data-driven adjustments
- Coordinate with multiple external creative teams to develop content and materials for campaigns
- Manage all Public Relations opportunities including press releases, local media interactions and interviews to promote key company announcements and events
Brand Management:
- Ensure the consistency of brand messaging and voice across all marketing materials, content creation and communications (both internal and external)
- Maintain and administer brand guidelines
Leadership:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product and customer support to align marketing efforts with business objectives
- Work with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) of multiple product lines to align on messaging, key-initiatives, product launches and campaigns
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources including co-op plans from key OEMs
- Optimize spend and performance based on results
Digital Marketing:
- Oversee digital marketing efforts, including website development and strategy, Search Engine Optimization/Search Engine Marketing (SEO/SEM), paid and organic social media editorial calendars, email marketing and paid advertising
- Stay current with digital marketing trends and implement best practices
Customer Engagement:
- Support the planning and execution of customer events
- Build strategies for engaging with customers, increasing retention, and encouraging brand loyalty
- Plan, execute and market customer testimonials via video opportunities to allow customers to tell their stories and create brand affinity
Reporting & Analytics:
- Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for all marketing activities
- Use analytics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and make changes
Miscellaneous:
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field required
- 7 years of cross-functional marketing experience required, with a proven track record in managing campaigns and leading teams
- Experience in the Construction industry or related field is preferred

- Proficiency with marketing software and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM systems, email marketing platforms, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and techniques
- Ability to establish and maintain interpersonal relationships
Physical Demands:
- Requires use and operation of standard office equipment
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Adequate vision and hearing for use of computer, telephone and conversation
- Occasional lifting/pulling/pushing up to 25 pounds
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Proper PPE required where indicated
Work Environment:
- Works occurs in an office environment, eligible for hybrid or remote
- Occasional travel (up to 20%) may be required for location visits, events or meetings
