Job Description
SUMMARY:
The primary purpose of the Staffing Coordinator is to work directly with the in-house staffing team to coordinate, execute, and maintain all aspects of recruiting, staffing and onboarding for the company.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate and interface with a diverse team of hiring managers frequently to proactively identify individual department hiring goals.
- Become familiar with the operations of each department and team within the company, by visiting jobsite and making time to speak with various Associates about their responsibilities and duties, to effectively seek talent for the appropriate target positions.
- Understand and promote company Core Values with a keen ability to determine the integrity of prospective candidates as it relates to the company Core Values finding the best match.
- Review and analyze resumes utilizing Keldaire ATS software program and maintain the ATS system.
- Source and attract candidates by using effective advertising mediums, email campaigns, job search websites, social media, networking, and referrals for potential recruits and establish contacts using industry-standard techniques.
- Filter applicants, screen and assess candidates that are best suited for company and position.
- Schedule and assist in phone interviews to effectively vet qualified candidates for open positions within the company.
- Coordinate in-person interviews for fully vetted candidates and liaise between candidates, hiring managers and teams.
- Orchestrate DISC profiles, job specific questionnaires and handwriting analysis for hiring managers.
- Build and maintain relationships with various universities and lead the efforts to participate in career fairs and other recruiting opportunities offered by the school.
- Must always have an innate ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Prepare and send offer letters and make appropriate internal notifications once acceptance/start date is received.
- Coordinate inventory, ordering, preparation and invoicing of new-hire welcome bags
- Track and maintain inventory and ordering of promotional material.
- Send out new hire 30-day emails and schedule 90-day follow-up reviews
- Assist in administration of the internship program
- Assist in development and maintenance of current job descriptions and job-specific questionnaires for all positions within the company
- Participate in other benefits/payroll projects, as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Highschool Graduate, some college desired with an academic HR background.
- Minimum 3 years prior recruiting experience in a corporate environment.
- Demonstrable experience in construction industry recruiting with strong sales skills.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge and experience with LinkedIn Recruiter Suite preferred
- Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in person, on the phone, electronically, or through other means to individuals and groups.
- Must be a good listener and clear communicator who has patience.
- Excellent interpersonal, listening and communication skills are essential, including oral and written presentation capabilities.
- Possess strong networking skills.
- Ability to establish trust, confidence, and relationships quickly.
- Must be a self- motivated/confident person with the ability to provide quality consistent follow-up service.
