What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Martin Interconnect Services?
Seeking dependable team players who strive in a fast paced environment to set up Machine Operators for success. Transports and assigns materials to Machine Operators. Ensures material is properly stored and organized for efficiency.
Qualifications
- Ability to navigate spreadsheets
- Basic Computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to lift 25lbs
- Ability to adapt to work environment and demonstrate a positive attitude
- Notifies the supervisor of product discrepancies
- Adheres to established company policies and procedures, paying special attention to safety regulations
- Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Ability to stand throughout shift (10 hours)
- All personnel may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed
Education/Experience
- Prior assembly / manufacturing experience helpful
1st Shift Hours: Monday-Thursday 5:00am- 3:30pm
