What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stockroom Associate position at Martin Interconnect Services?
We are seeking dependable team players to join all areas of our manufacturing team. We have many different positions available from entry level or just joining the workforce to more advanced positions. This position has the main task of ensuring materials are supplied where and when they are needed. Other responsibilities include keeping workstations fully stocked with materials, ultimately contributing to overall higher productivity of other workers.
Responsibilities
- Performs spot checks on material to ensure adherence to approved quality standards
- Notifies the supervisor of product discrepancies
- Adheres to established company policies and procedures, paying special attention to safety regulations
- Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- All personnel may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed
Education/Experience
- Prior assembly / manufacturing experience helpful
